Courage to Call is proud to announce the addition of new refrigeration equipment that will help strengthen its services and resources available to veterans, service members, and their families.

The refrigeration equipment was provided through a partnership with Feeding San Diego and made possible through funding from the City of San Diego via a CalRecycle grant. This investment reflects a shared commitment to supporting the health and well-being of our community and ensuring resources are available where they are needed most.

Courage to Call is a veteran-led program dedicated to improving mental wellness among Veterans, Active Duty service members, Reservists, National Guard members, and their families. Through outreach and education, a peer support line, and solution-focused support services, Courage to Call connects individuals and families with the resources they need to navigate life’s challenges. The new cold storage equipment enhances the program’s capacity to help meet the needs of those they serve.

“We are incredibly grateful for the support of Feeding San Diego, the City of San Diego, and CalRecycle,” said Brad Bianchi, TURN Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. “Partnerships like these help us expand opportunities to connect veterans and their families with the resources and support they deserve.”

Collaboration remains at the heart of Courage to Call’s mission. The program values working together with nonprofit organizations, government partners, community stakeholders, and supporters to create stronger systems of care for those who have served our country.

We extend our sincere thanks to Feeding San Diego, the City of San Diego, CalRecycle, and all of our partners, supporters, and staff members whose dedication helps make this work possible.
