Welcoming Our Newest Board Member: Dr. Andrea Pratt

Dr. Andrea Pratt

We’re excited to share some wonderful news about TURN’s continued growth and impact! Our Board of Directors has welcomed a new member whose clinical expertise, leadership experience, and passion for serving underserved communities will help strengthen our mission for years to come. Dr. Andrea Pratt, a licensed psychologist and behavioral health leader, has joined the TURN Board of Directors.

Dr. Pratt currently serves as Clinical Director of Kick It California at UC San Diego, a statewide program funded by the California Department of Public Health that provides free, evidence-based tobacco, vaping, and cannabis cessation services. In her role, she leads multidisciplinary teams, oversees clinical strategy and quality improvement initiatives, and helps expand access to behavioral health services for California’s most vulnerable populations.

With more than a decade of experience spanning integrated healthcare systems, substance use treatment programs, psychiatric care, veteran services, and public health initiatives, she has dedicated her career to improving access to compassionate, evidence-based behavioral healthcare.

“I am particularly drawn to TURN’s service model—integrating mental health, substance use treatment, supportive housing, and services for justice-involved populations. Patients need support to navigate the multiple stressors they are facing including financial instability and re-integrating into the community. Serving on the board offers an opportunity to contribute at a strategic level to an organization making a meaningful impact in these critical areas.
