We’re grateful to share that our President & CEO, Jim Callaghan, has been named a finalist for the San Diego Business Journal’s 2026 CEO of the Year Award. He is honored to be recognized alongside an extraordinary group of leaders whose work is shaping the future of our region.

This recognition reflects not only Jim’s leadership, but also the collective commitment of our staff, partners, and supporters who work every day to strengthen behavioral health supports for those who need them most. With this shared dedication, TURN has grown to serve 60 behavioral health programs across seven counties, responding to a time of significant and urgent community need.

Under Jim’s guidance, TURN has deepened its focus on operational excellence and evidence‑based practices, helping ensure reliable, high‑quality care for youth, families, veterans, and justice‑involved individuals. His leadership also extends beyond our organization through service on regional boards, advocacy for sustainable behavioral health systems, and a consistent effort to bring partners together across sectors in pursuit of a healthier, more equitable community.

We extend our sincere congratulations to all of the finalists for the San Diego Business Journal’s 2026 CEO of the Year Award. The depth of talent represented is inspiring and a testament to what strong, values‑driven leadership can accomplish.

The finalists will be honored at the CEO of the Year Reception on Wednesday, April 29.
