Keep Courage Alive

For years, Courage to Call has been a lifeline for the veterans in our community.

Run by veterans, for veterans, Courage to Call offers call-in support, mental health and substance‑use guidance, and direct connections to critical community resources.

We are deeply grateful for 17 years of San Diego County funding through the Health and Human Services Agency and Live Well San Diego. However, with county funding now coming to an end, we need to raise private funds to sustain the program. 

These services save lives. They restore dignity. They keep families together. And they’re zero cost to those who served, ever.

The Aqualia Foundation has stepped forward with a transformational $250,000 gift to help sustain Courage to Call. Inspired by their generosity, an anonymous donor has created a $250,000 match, doubling every gift made this year until the match is met. This means your gift goes twice as far to ensure current and former service members and their families never lose access to the support they deserve.
